The abscissa indicates the date. The dose of 5-ALA was 125 mg/day on April 2 because the treatment began in the midnight. Patient condition worsened on April 3, so that the dose of 5-ALA was increased to 2250 mg/day (750 mg was administered before dawn and 1500 mg was administered during day time). The dose was adjusted to 1500 mg/day on April 4. It was reduced to 750 mg/day because of the improvement of symptoms. CRP decreased on April 7 and the dose of 5-ALA was further reduced after April 15. (B) Chest CT scan of Case 4 taken on April 3. Multiple nodular shadows with ground-glass opacity lesions.
