Fig. (1) Decrease in cell viability in response to hydrogen peroxide treatment. Cells treated with (300 MCM, 400 MCM and 800 MCM) or without (0 MCM) hydrogen peroxide (for 90 min.) were seeded in 1 ml wells in a 24 well plate at 50,000 cells/ml and incubated for 72 hours. Cells were trypsinized and viable cell numbers were recorded using the Trypan Blue Dye Exclusion Method. Data represents results from triplicate observations (mean ± SEM, n=3). One-way ANOVA shows a significant treatment effect (F=815; p ≤0.001). This experiment was repeated twice with similar results.
