Fig. (1) NAs developed a meaningful daily life by sensing the older person’s and finding the “right” way of being which can be linked to practicalwisdom (Theme 1). They sense and read the older person in order to judge how the person is feeling that can be understood as theoretical knowledge (Theme 2). They adapt to the older person which can bee seen as practical knowledge (Theme 3) and share their daily life which could be described as practical wisdom (Theme 4). NAs use emotional involvement to develop a meaningful daily life for the older person and meaning in their work and thereby making each other’s daily lives meaningful viewed as an embodied way of knowing (Theme 5).
