Fig. (1) – LG, 22 years old, male, motorcycle fall, sustained an open left crescent pelvic fracture (Jones class I, Faringer zone 3). Note the clinical aspect of the lesion. Pelvic injury was mechanically unstable but the patient was hemodynamically stable. There was a low contamination load. ‘Early total care’ was performed in this patient, as shown by the immediate post-operative radiography. The last radiography shows the fracture healing with no loss of fixation. Patient had a satisfactory outcome, with total recovery of his previous level of activity.
