The mean thermal withdrawal latency (in seconds) was measured for both the paws ipsilateral and contralateral in rats (n=5 per group). Each point represents mean ± standard error of mean of the paw withdrawal threshold (in grams) to mechanical stimulation by von Frey filaments. Data were analyzed by one-way analysis of variance using Dunnett’s multiple comparison test. p<0.05 was considered significant as compared with the inflammatory control.
