2 parts: the stress management training program consisted of 2 main activities; (a) Meditation activity integrated with the concept of alternative medicine (2 hrs.) as follows; - slowly close your eyes, inhale deeply through your nose, slowly (count 1-5) (30 minutes) - hold your breath (count 1-3) (2-3 minutes) - slowly exhale through your mouth - slowly count 1-5 again, and repeat the step as a full cycle (full cycle 30-40 times), then slowly open your eyes (b) Stress-management using self-practice massage training applied from Thai traditional massage for 2 sessions (3 hrs.) including; - relaxing massage for eye care (7 postures) - relaxing massage for neck and head - relaxing massage for hand, arm and shoulder (3 postures) - self-practice massage to prevent pain on hand, arm and shoulders (3 postures) - self-practice massage to relieve tension on the back, waist and hip (15 postures) - after practicing self-massage use heat compressing using Thai herbal compress ball (250 g.) (10-15 minutes.) Note: both activities at home every day for the meditation (twice a day, morning and evening 30-40 minutes each time) and self-practice massage (once a day, 16.00-17.00 pm or when available, 30-45 minutes each time) |

9th -12th weeks | Home visit care to remind participants to follow the program and stimulate the motivation to practice (twice a week, 60 minutes each time); - short discussion about knowledge, stress management, set or assess self-regulation, and the elders about their problems - mobile phone follow up on the encouragement (1 time per week) |
