(B) AH109 yeast cells were (co)transformed with the indicated plasmids. Interactions were tested by growth selection on dropout media lacking the amino acids Leu or Trp (SD/-Leu or SD/-Trp) to select for pGADT7/Rec or pAS2-1 plasmid constructs, respectively. Activation of reporter genes was tested on plates lacking Leu, Trp, Hist and Ade, and containing X-α-Gal (SD/-Trp/-Leu/-Hist/-Ade/X-a-Gal).
