Dr. Juan Antonio Cogordán Ramírez obtained his Ph.D. degree in Quantic Chemistry from Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden. Since 1994, He is full-time researcher at the Institute of Chemistry, National Autonomous University of Mexico, Mexico. Dr. Ramírez’s research has focused on the study of the electronic structure of atoms, molecules and solids, including all these three fields, applying relativistic and correlation methods to first principles. The aforementioned research has been applied to the following: Highly ionized atoms in spectroscopy experiments of Beam Foil, Semiconductors, and Superconductors at critical high temperature.

Lucie Bartonova is Associate Professor at the VSB-Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic. Her research is focused on unburned carbon and reducing emissions at coal combustion. She has published more than 60 papers in international journals and conference proceedings. She is the author of the review on unburned carbon from coal combustion ash – TOP 25 (#9) Fuel Processing Technology paper (2015). She has served as a member of scientific / technical committees and as a reviewer of more than 150 papers for Fuel, Fuel Processing Technology, Journal of Cleaner Production, Waste Management, Environmental Science & Technology, Environmental Pollution etc.
