Currently Dr Beck is Professor of Management at Cork University Business School, University College Cork, Ireland. Dr Beck has published more than 100 academic papers and several widely read books in the areas of risk, health and health management. His recent work on occupational cancers won the 2013 American Public Health Association (APHA) Occupational Health Section’s Scientific Research Award. His earlier work on the UK Bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) crisis received the Marshall Dimock award for best lead article published in Public Administration Review in 2005.

C. Busby

He is an expert on the health effects of ionizing radiation. He qualified in Chemical Physics at the Universities of London and Kent, and worked on the molecular physical chemistry of living cells for the Wellcome Foundation. Professor Busby is the Scientific Secretary of the European Committee on Radiation Risk based in Brussels and has edited many of its publications since its founding in 1998. He has held a number of honorary University positions, including Visiting Professor in the Faculty of Health of the University of Ulster until his retirement in 2012. He has been a member of two UK government committees on the health effects of radiation and is known for his research on the effects of Uranium. Dr Harrison is an experienced skin cancer epidemiologist. She directs the Skin Cancer Research Unit at James Cook University and is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. Amir Sasan received his Association Degree of Food Science and Technology from the Islamic Azad University of Savadkouh Branch, Iran and BSc in Food and Science Engineering from the Islamic Azad University of Damqan Branch, Iran. Also, he completed his MSc Microbiology at the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University of Hyderabad, India. However, He earned a fellowship in PhD of Virology of the Hamadan University of Medical Sciences. He has several publications in peer-reviewed journals, journal editorial boards, and reviewer.

G. Pereira

Dr. Pereira is a perinatal epidemiologist, environmental health researcher and biostatistician in the discipline of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the School of Public Health, Curtin University. He has previously held an NHMRC Sidney Sax fellowship and is currently an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at Telethon Kids Institute. Previously, he has held positions in the Center for Perinatal, Pediatric and Environmental Epidemiology at Yale University and the Yale School of Environmental Studies. His research interests include epidemiology, perinatal health, environmental health, biostatistics. He is currently an Associate Professor at Epidemiology & Biostatistics Curtin University School of Public Health. His field of research is biostatistics, environmental Sciences, epidemiology, paediatrics and reproductive medicine.

Dr. Matthew Sparke, currently working as a Professor in Politics Department, University of California Santa Cruz, CA. He has completed his PhD from The University of British Columbia in Geography (1996). Walter C. Buboltz, Jr., Ph.D. did his BS in Psychology from Union College, Schenectady, New York in 1988. He did his M.A in Counseling/Community Psychology, Marist College Poughkeepsie, New York in 1992. Then he did his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Kent State University (APA accredited) in 1996. Since 1996, he is tenured Full Professor in Louisiana Tech University, Ruston, Louisiana.
