Dr. Pereira is a perinatal epidemiologist, environmental health researcher and biostatistician in the discipline of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the School of Public Health, Curtin University. He has previously held an NHMRC Sidney Sax fellowship and is currently an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at Telethon Kids Institute. Previously, he has held positions in the Center for Perinatal, Pediatric and Environmental Epidemiology at Yale University and the Yale School of Environmental Studies. His research interests include epidemiology, perinatal health, environmental health, biostatistics. Dr. Matthew Sparke is currently working as a Professor in Politics Department, University of California Santa Cruz, CA. He has completed his PhD from The University of British Columbia in Geography (1996). Dr. Maryam Ahmadian is currently an affiliate faculty member in the department of Women and Gender Studies at the George Mason University, Virginia, USA.
